Key Replacement
Lost your key(s)? That’s really frustrating and inconvenient.
We understand that this can be more than just an inconvenience, especially if other occupants are not available. However, for security reasons, the Nanaimo based landlord's agent does not have possession of unit keys. This means that it can take 2-4 weeks to access the spare keys.
Although this may seem like a major inconvenience, the simple solution is to keep a spare access key in a another location, such as;
Hidden in your car. Make sure that it is not in plain sight, the truck is a good place. Do not store it alongside documents that contain your home address!
With a nearby friend or family member.
IMPORTANT: You must contact the landlord and advise that the door lock needs to be changed, BEFORE you have the lock changed.
If you need urgent access, then you will need to call a locksmith at your own cost.

Keep in mind that a lock replacement will also require replacement of the number of keys you originally were provided with. You also need to provide a copy of the new key to the landlord (or agent) within 24hrs of the lock being changed.
Replacement Key Fees
Replacement key fees are to be paid upon delivery of the key(s).
Unit Access (front/rear): $7.00.
Mail Box: $9.00
Garbage Collection Locker: $5.00
